Freshmen, Welcome to High school

So freshmen, welcome to high school. It's definitely gonna be a lot different than middle school. In middle school, you learned how to operate a locker, deal with more than one teacher, and started to develop freedom as you entered your teen years. In high school, you'll put it all to the test. For many people in middle school, a majority of their classes were all right next to each other....in high school, the school is typically broken up by subject. Don't get frustrated if you get lost the first day. Remember, God lets you face challenges so that you can become stronger. Believe it or not, navigating the halls of high school will help you to develop patience (especially if someone is being extremely slow in front of you), and yeah, you'll learn your way around pretty quickly.
As a good friend of mine put it, in middle school, you can get access to the bad stuff people talk about like drugs, alcohol, and sex. However, in high school, it's a lot more of "in your face". People partying on the weekends, smoking in the bathrooms. After the Friday night football games.....you get the picture. Stay strong in the Lord. Be reading your bible, praying, just staying close to Him, and He'll get you through.
Now I don't wanna scare you at of high school. High School has definitely been great for me over the years, from clubs, to sports, to JROTC and friends. You'll definitely enjoy it as long as you just remember to focus on God. It can be some of the greatest years of your life.
To all you freshmen, welcome to high school. Good luck, and remember to focus on Christ.
