Yup, it's time for Senior year, you can make it the best one ever, or it can just be another year of high school. However, how are you gonna let God work through you in your senior year. At this point in your high school career, many of you are student government officers, senior class officer, leaders in the school clubs, captains of the football team, etc. As seniors, you have a lot of influence on the people around you, especially the underclassmen. Something God has really been placing on my heart lately, is reaching out to the people we come in contact with. In High school, you have connections with people in ways that you never will again. It's much easier to strike up a conversation and become friends with someone, or just talk with them. Not so much once you get into college and the working world. So, use it for God's glory. Already, we have a chance to reach out to people more easily, simply because they are a fellow high schooler. Not only that, as seniors, God has placed us in leadership positions and/or positions of leadership, either as an officer/captain, or simply being a senior.
Be that strong influence. As seniors, people are gonna look up to you. Your gonna be the big dog on campus. Underclassmen, and definitely freshmen. Going out and partying, or having sex is definitely gonna have a huge negative impact, both on what they view as ok, and your ability to be a light for Christ. I encourage y'all just be thoughtful, and to seek God with all of your hearts. Let Him guide you in your senior year and praise Him with everything. May God bless
High School is one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences. It comes with a lot more freedom and decisions. Of course you can't forget the Friday night football games. However, it isn't easy to be a Christian in high school today. From the temptations to peer pressure, to major life decisions, it's not easy. But, God is always with us and will help us make it through. Check things out, maybe God will have something for you here.
