Well, half way done and earned the title of upperclassmen. Yeah, that would be all you juniors. You've learned to deal with tough teachers, staying up all night to do homework, and balancing school work with sports and extra curricular activities. Now, you get to face the challenges of harder academics, entering the area of Advanced Placement (if you haven't already), varsity sports, and club leaders/officers. And of course, driving to school. However, with the higher academics, and the perks of being an upperclassmen, like driving to school and varsity sports, you can more responsibility. As a Christian, God calls us to walk in the Spirit daily. As Luke 9:23 puts it, "Then He said to them: 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow me.'".
With that upperclassmen title, people in the high school start to look up to you. You're put into positions of leadership, so use them wisely. Read your bible, and check out what God calls us to do. With that constant prayer and focusing on God, He'll guide you in the right path. Good luck fellas and may God watch over you as you enter your 3rd year in high school and I encourage you to walk in the Spirit everyday
High School is one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences. It comes with a lot more freedom and decisions. Of course you can't forget the Friday night football games. However, it isn't easy to be a Christian in high school today. From the temptations to peer pressure, to major life decisions, it's not easy. But, God is always with us and will help us make it through. Check things out, maybe God will have something for you here.
